FAQs
Is there a minimum training requirement?
Not at the State level. However, specific counties have additional requirements, such as completing a county-based application and paying a fee. Please contact your local regulatory authority for information.
Do I have to register with the Health Department or get a card after I pass my exam?
Yes. After passing an approved and accredited food manager exam such as ServSafe, present the original certificate as well as a government issued photo ID to your local Health Department. Please note that some counties require you to pay an application fee.
